However, its cultivation is exclusively indigenous to Iran.
Origin and Harvest Season
The cultivated area of Rabbi dates exceeds 15,720 hectares. The primary production hub is Sistan and Baluchestan Province in southeastern Iran (including Zabol, Saravan, Iranshahr, and Chabahar), with the finest grades harvested in Zabol and Iranshahr.
